Interview with Wanda Romero, community gardener with Norris Square Neighborhood Project and the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society-sponsored garden at 2224 North 2nd Street on location in the Norris Square Neighborhood Project office building. This interview discusses Wanda's upbringing in the Fairmount neighborhood of Philadelphia, her first memories of community gardens in the Norris Square neighborhood, and her recollections of mother, community organizer, and gardener Tomasita Romero, co-founder of Grupo Motivos. The interview concludes with Wanda describing the mural on the side of Tomasita's house facing the garden at 2224, which depicts Tomasita's childhood in Ponce, Puerto Rico.
